OnePlus is setting up to celebrate it’s tenth anniversary by holding an outstanding event on December 4th in Shenzhen, China. One of the talking points will be the brand new OnePlus 12 which will be announced on the stage by the CEO and founder Pete Lau.
We’ve already seen several leaks for the upcoming flagship, including it’s 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel developed by BOE with a 1,440 x 3,168px resolution and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness. OnePlus 12 will also launch with an updated camera setup headlined by Sony’s new 48MP dual-layer stacked Lytia 808 main sensor alongside a 1/2.0″ 64MP OV64B sensor with a telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. We’re expecting a 48MP ultrawide lens to cover the third camera module.
Being 2023 flagship. OnePlus 12 will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip as confirmed by a recent AnTuTu listing. The device will offer 100W charging and OnePlus 12 units sold in China will ship with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 while the international variants are expected to offer OxygenOS 14
